She is currently researching how a sense of belonging impacts client outcomes. Prior to that, she earned a M.S. in Management from Antioch University in Seattle, WA and a B.S. in Business and Economics from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>She is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, ERYT-500) with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and groups ranging in age (12-90+) and ability. Candi adapts sessions to accommodate individual needs, ability, and chronic conditions in a caring, supportive environment. Candi is a registered member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and Yoga Alliance. And she has over 10 years of experience as a fitness instructor, teaching classes in water, step, and slide aerobics; ski fitness, stretch, and strength exercise.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In addition, Candi is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). She spent 2 years volunteering as a member of patient\u2019s healthcare team at a major local hospital, demonstrating the value of health and wellness coaching to support positive outcomes for patients. First and foremost, I believe the simple exercises contribute to joint flexibility, improving my balance, and building my core strength. The stretches are not taxing, yet I feel they work in many areas of my body. The exercises focused on my feet have taught me the importance of having good blood circulation, maintaining our arches for good balance, and overall foot health. We transition smoothly from one exercise to the next, seeming to move or stretch most parts of our bodies during class. I can perform many of the routines on my own throughout the week, which is especially helpful to my stiffening finger joints. Candi gently guides the class, keeps a watchful eye on the students, and lends guidance when needed. She keeps the class flowing but does not rush us as we gather our equipment for the next routine. I appreciate that I pay only when I attend and take classes as often as possible. The routine is important and contributes to my muscle tone and overall well-being.
